A small vignette about death, existence, and the meaning of life.

────────────────────────

"Why is there something rather than nothing?" could be considered as the root of all questions, the start of a never-ending thought process.

Have you ever wondered, when you were a child, or as you are now, why we live, and what comes after such a short existence? There lies a thousand possibilities and nights of anguish in such a question. Yet, there is no absolute truth, not just one single belief one can hold, but perhaps, as we dive into an oneiric introspection, we might still find some joy in our finite journey on Earth.

  • Playtime: ~5-8 minutes for all routes. There are 3 different "dreams" you can enter, though your choice won't affect the ending.

Controls and help:

  • Arrows/keys to move.
  • Follow the colored sparkles to unravel the next dialogue.
  • When displayed, interact with the yellow hearts to access the next room.
  • In the "dreams" (except the one about the void) you need to step into the center of the room to access the next scene.
  • This game mentions death and mild derealization, please play with caution if you are sensitive to any of these themes. Please note that this game does not mean to invalidate any belief, and is simply a humane perspective on the ineffable.
